Privacy policy

Farahna (farahna.net) is a service for creating digital wedding, engagement and katb-ketab invitations. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

For any question or request about your data, message us on Messenger (فرحنا - Farahna) or email support@farahna.app.

Account data: your phone number or your email (you give at least one, or both if you prefer), and your display name. Your password is stored hashed (Argon2) — neither we nor anyone else can read it.

Invitation content: the couple's names, the date and venue, the text you write, the images you upload and the song you choose.

A contact number: if you publish without an account we ask for an optional phone number so we can tell you before your trial link stops. We do not use it for anything else.

Payment data: a screenshot of your transfer receipt and the wallet number or InstaPay handle you sent from, so we can match the transfer and confirm it arrived. We never receive or store bank card numbers.

Session data: your IP address, browser and device type, used to protect against repeated login attempts and to manage your sign-in.

When your guests open your invitation they may submit: their name, an RSVP with a party size, a written wish, photos, and a voice message.

This data belongs to you as the owner of the invitation and appears in your dashboard. We do not sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for any marketing.

Guest photos and voice messages stay under your moderation — you decide what appears on the invitation.

As the owner of the invitation, you are responsible for making sure your guests are comfortable with their names and photos appearing on it.

The site uses the following tools, each of which collects usage data itself:

Google Analytics 4 — aggregate visit statistics.

Microsoft Clarity — records mouse movement, clicks and how you interact with pages, so we can find and fix what is unclear.

Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok Pixel — to measure ad results and for retargeting.

These belong to other companies and operate under their own privacy policies. You can block them via your browser settings or a tracker-blocking extension.

We also use Railway for hosting, Neon for the database and Upstash for caching. Your data is stored on their servers.

Silver plan: your link and content stay live for one year from activation.

Golden plan: your link and content stay live for life.

Free trial: the link stops after 24 hours, but your content stays saved in your account and is not deleted.

Payment receipt images are retained for financial review and fraud prevention.

You can ask us to delete your account and all its data at any time — message us and we will do it.

You can ask for: a copy of your data, correction of anything inaccurate, full deletion of your account, or that we stop using your number to contact you.

Passwords are stored hashed, all traffic to the site is over HTTPS, and access to customer data is limited to the team members who need it for review and support.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you.
